The camp will bring about 25 young farmers, freelancers, photographer, social workers, community researchers plus students. The camp is based on living and learning style. Participants are from Ubon Ratchathani, Si Sa Ket, Surin, Buriram, Nakhon
Ratchasima, Bangkok and Chiang Mai.
The 2 nights and 3 days activity hosting at Mekong Nomad Farm includes panel discussion on youth-returned home to do sustainable farming, YFarm talks, Farmers dialogue, farmer’s prototype project, farm tour, team building, sharing stories, gardening,cooking, movie screening, live music, seed sharing and marketplace activity at a local market in town.
Y-Farm is initiative from young and enthusiastic generation in Lower Mekong Region, Y- Farm firstly received small funding from YSEALISeeds 2017 in order to implement three main activities in five countries. Mekong Nomad Farm received small funding to
organise this training for Isaan Youth Group, North of Thailand.
